7th Grade

In 7th grade life science, students will research all forms of life. They will explore and investigate how some simple, individual organisms work together to become stronger and more effective. They will study cells, organs, and how organisms affect their environment. In pre-algebra, students will explore properties of algebra, learn to graph inequalities and the meaning of rational and irrational numbers. In religion, students will study about their Catholic identity and what it means. In english, students will identify key ideas and details, analyze craft and structure, and integrate knowledge and ideas in literature. They will identify text types and purposes, produce and distribute writing, and research to build and present knowledge. In history, students will identify the social, cultural, and technological  changes that occured in Europe, Africa, and Asia from 500 to 1789 A.D. Students will also study the history and geography of civilizations that were developing throughout the world during the medieval and early modern times.
